When I come from the west
they think I’m a Christian
according to all the standards
they have cleverly designed
When I come from the east
they take me for a Muslim,
a potential terrorist,
a probable enemy of Christians
and anyone else
with a different faith or philosophy
But I’m only a simple man
in search of his inner bliss
A student of life and happiness
poor of blind pride and arrogance
All religions must work for peace
and not encourage ethnic and cultural divisions
It matters not where we come from
Every human being is our natural brother,
a pillar of humanity
We live and die
for the continuation of the human race
Whatever God or philosophy we embrace
must work to awaken us to our true identity,
not to kill others no matter who they are
The two sons of God Jesus and Mohamed
Sadly laugh at and cry for
the fools who think they’re wise
or really believe in their ungodly teachings
better than anybody else!

Never again...

I'm a freak to this world, but not to her, coming into my life like a blur. I believe that she would be there, she made me smile with just a glare. I'm so far from perfect, I thought I was her knight, Dreaming of this girl every day and night. Getting sucked in like a black hole. Telling her everything that I never told a soul. After everything we shared, she thinks I lied. It weighs so much on my mind, why...? 'I have to go', is how she said goodbye. From telling the truth, never again seeing her leaves me dry... Did she really mean it when she said that she loved me...? Or am I just someone there to only keep her company? Again my ground starts shake with the shattering skies. My heart feels its last beat and begins to die.

Too often we don't realize

Nobody

Feelings rush inside of me,
ripping my soul apart, wanting to be,

Someone, somebody,
but I'm still nobody.

Days, minutes, seconds tick by,
ready to reach the clouds and fly.

Looking up, calling, pleading for a call,
that never comes, I bend my knees and slowly fall.

Tears cloud in my eyes, making their way down,
people stare, says nothing, but smiles with a frown.

Voices scream in my head, my heart aches, to run and find,
a place, somewhere where I wouldn't be left behind.

Who am I? I call out to the sea,
as if asking them where I can find my destiny.

Dear God, I pray, would you please help me bare?
but I still don't get any sign that he would care.

I wonder how I would get by through another day,
without feeling so far away.

Allah a voice whispers quietly into the night,
I turned my head to look, but it vanished like the speed of light.

Alone and confused I stared at the sky,
than, softly like the wind, came the reply.

That only Allah would help me see
the true person that lives inside of me.

And even though I think I'm a nobody
