When I come from the west
they think I’m a Christian
according to all the standards
they have cleverly designed
When I come from the east
they take me for a Muslim,
a potential terrorist,
a probable enemy of Christians
and anyone else
with a different faith or philosophy
But I’m only a simple man
in search of his inner bliss
A student of life and happiness
poor of blind pride and arrogance
All religions must work for peace
and not encourage ethnic and cultural divisions
It matters not where we come from
Every human being is our natural brother,
a pillar of humanity
We live and die
for the continuation of the human race
Whatever God or philosophy we embrace
must work to awaken us to our true identity,
not to kill others no matter who they are
The two sons of God Jesus and Mohamed
Sadly laugh at and cry for
the fools who think they’re wise
or really believe in their ungodly teachings
better than anybody else!
